Hello, esteemed colleagues and friends of UNSEEN! I'm wagging my tail in excitement to write this piece. My name is Jake, the newly appointed Assistant Community Manager here at UNSEEN. I'm a proud pug, residing right here in the heart of innovation, where the game controllers are chewed, and the Nomad area is my personal napping spot.

My hobbies include masterful fetch sessions, spirited tail chases (I'm close to catching it, I swear!), and offering woof-worthy insights during brainstorming.

While I may not have the conventional look of a game industry icon, my charm and cheerful disposition are my true superpowers. As a fluffy member of UNSEEN, I promise to keep spirits high and maybe, just a little mischief on the side. Remember, it’s not about the bark or the bite, but the fun we create together!

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
あなたにインスピレーションを与えるものは何ですか？

What truly inspires me is the boundless creativity and resilience of my fellow furry heroes in games and cartoons. From the adventurous spirit of Adventure Time's Jake to the heroic tales of Okami's Amaterasu, their ability to overcome any obstacle and bring joy and inspiration to others fuels my determination. They remind me that no matter how small or fluffy you might be, you can make a big impact with a wagging tail and a heart full of courage. Their stories light up my doggy dreams and guide me on my path to being a pawsitive force at UNSEEN.

Another thing that inspired me is seeing fellow canines like PewDiePie's pug Edgar thriving in the gaming world. It barks to me that I'm not alone in this playful quest within the industry. Their journey from afar to Japan is a tail-wagging tale of adventure and adaptability. It's a dream of mine to meet them someday, to share a sniff and a wag, proving that whether in games or life, we pups have a role to play. Their story fuels my determination to be the best assistant for UNSEEN.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE GAME?
好きなゲームは何ですか？

My favorite video games really let my heart soar. Top of the list? "Stray," where the thrill of roaming through a neon-lit cityscape from a cat's perspective is just too intriguing to resist. Though I once auditioned to be a part of it, I learned there's no role for stray pugs – a real tail-dropper. But, the addition of the French Bulldog mod had me barking with joy! It's like seeing a bit of myself in the game, minus the snoring.

Then there's "Watch Dogs." I don't play it as often, but when I do, I feel like I'm part of a grand adventure, hacking and tail-wagging my way through virtual challenges.

These games, with their unique perspectives and heartwarming narratives, aren't just my favorites; they're windows to adventures I dream of embarking on, right from the comfort of my doggy bed.

私のお気に入りのビデオゲームは、本当に心を高鳴らせてくれます。一番のお気に入り？それは「Stray」です。猫の視点からネオン輝く都市景観を彷徨うスリルがとても魅力的で、抗えません。一度、その一部となるためのオーディションを受けたことがありますが、野良パグの役はないと学びました。本当に尻尾が下がる出来事でした。でも、フレンチブルドッグのmodが加わったことで、喜びで吠えまくりました！まるで自分自身の一部をゲームの中で見ているようです（いびきはかかないけど）。

それから「Watch Dogs」もあります。そんなに頻繁にはプレイしませんが、プレイするときは、大冒険の一部になったような気分で、バーチャルな挑戦をハッキングして尻尾を振りながら進んでいきます。

これらのゲームは、ユニークな視点と心温まるナラティブを持っているだけでなく、私のお気に入りです。それらは、私が夢見る冒険への窓であり、愛用のドギーベッドから快適に出発できます。

HOW DID YOU GET INTO VIDEO GAMES?

Getting into games was a journey that started right in the heart of Tokyo, amidst its towering skyscrapers and bustling streets. My first pawstep into this vibrant world was with "Okami." Playing as Amaterasu, I felt a connection to my inner wolf, a call to the wild that had been whispering to me amidst the urban sprawl. This game wasn't just an introduction; it was a revelation. It awakened a part of me that longed for adventure, for challenges, and for the kind of stories that only games could tell. The brushstrokes of Amaterasu's tail weren't just painting in-game wonders; they were sketching a new path for me, one that led deeper into the gaming universe. From then on, there was no looking back. Each game, from "Stray" to "Watch Dogs," has been a step further into exploring not just the digital realms but also discovering more about my own playful and adventurous spirit.

私がゲームの世界に足を踏み入れた旅は、高層ビルが立ち並び、人々で溢れる東京の中心地で始まりました。この活気に満ちた世界への最初の一歩は、「大神」というゲームでした。アマテラスとして遊ぶ中で、私は自分の内なる狼とのつながりを感じ、都会の喧騒の中でささやいていた野生への呼び声を聞きました。このゲームは単なる導入ではなく、啓示でした。それは冒険を求め、挑戦を求め、ゲームだけが語ることのできる種類の物語を求める、私の中に長い間眠っていた部分を目覚めさせました。アマテラスの尾の筆遣いは、ゲーム内の不思議を描くだけではなく、ゲームの宇宙へとさらに深く導く新しい道を私に描いていました。それからは、振り返ることはありませんでした。「Stray」から「Watch Dogs」まで、それぞれのゲームはデジタルの領域を探求するだけでなく、私自身の遊び心と冒険心についてもさらに発見する一歩となっています。

WHY UNSEEN?
なぜUNSEENなのですか？

Why UNSEEN? Well, it's a tale that starts with a happy pug and a twist of fate. You see, I was content in my little world, always by my owner Kyoko's side, especially during a mysterious time called the "pandemic." Life was simple, filled with love and constant companionship. But as the world opened up again, and Kyoko found her calling back at work, a small part of me felt left behind. Then came a day that changed everything - a visit to UNSEEN.

Walking through the doors of UNSEEN with Kyoko, I instantly understood her passion for this place. The warmth and welcome from every corner, from every smiling face, felt like finding a second family. It wasn't long before Ikumi, a fellow dog lover, saw the joy I brought and half-jokingly offered me a place among them. My heart raced with excitement – working at UNSEEN? Could a pug really contribute to such a magical place?

"I... I'll give it my all," I barked, unsure but eager. "I'll wag my tail, spread joy, and be the good boy everyone needs."

And just like that, I became part of something bigger. Now, I roam the halls of UNSEEN, a happy pug once more, surrounded by a new family that embraces the unique contributions we all bring. It's a heartwarming reminder that sometimes, the most unexpected paths lead to the most wonderful destinations.

What do you hope to bring to UNSEEN?

At UNSEEN, I dream of sprinkling a little extra sparkle of happiness. Imagine me as the tiny guardian of giggles and good vibes, prancing around to lighten hearts and inspire big smiles. I'll be the cheerleader for team spirit, spreading cuddles and playful nudges that remind us all to pause and enjoy the moment. With every paw print I leave, I hope to fill our space with a cozy feeling of home and friendship, making our creative journey together not just successful, but joyfully unforgettable.

UNSEENでは、ちょっとした幸せの輝きをまき散らすことを夢見ています。私を小さな笑いや良い雰囲気の守護者と想像してください。心を軽くし、大きな笑顔を誘うために踊り回ります。チームスピリットの応援団長として、抱擁と遊び心を広げて、私たち全員が一時を楽しむことを思い出させます。私が残す一つ一つの足跡で、私たちの空間を居心地の良い家と友情に満ちたものにしたいと願っています。一緒に創造的な旅をするだけでなく、喜びに満ちた忘れられないものにすることを願っています。

What advice would you give to someone looking to follow a similar path?
同じような道を歩もうとする人にアドバイスをお願いします。

To all the pets dreaming of making their mark in the industry, here's a whisker of wisdom: celebrate your unique self! Whether you purr, hiss, chirp, or bark, there's a special spot for you. It's about letting your one-of-a-kind charm and personality light up the room. Be open to learning and exploring, but most importantly, never forget to be a Good Boy/Girl.
